You’ll need a valid driver’s license, a tow vehicle that is properly equipped and rated for the trailer/load, proof of current auto insurance, and a payment card for the rental/security deposit.

Your vehicle must be rated to tow the combined weight of the empty trailer plus your cargo and have the correct electrical connection for the trailer. If you are unsure, send us your vehicle year, make, model, and what you plan to haul before reserving.

For many standard trailer rentals, a regular driver’s license is sufficient, provided you stay within applicable vehicle and combined-weight limits. Requirements can vary based on the trailer’s weight, the tow vehicle, and state rules, so you are responsible for making sure you can legally and safely tow the equipment.

Choose the trailer you need, submit your requested pickup and return dates, and wait for availability confirmation. Your reservation is not final until ACG Rental Trailer confirms the dates and any required deposit or payment is completed.

Your rental includes the trailer and its standard installed equipment. Ask us before pickup what is included for your specific trailer—such as ramps, straps, loading accessories, spare tire, or tarp—because available equipment can vary by trailer type.

No. Do not exceed the trailer’s load capacity or use it for prohibited, illegal, hazardous, unsafe, or improperly secured loads. Customers are responsible for proper loading, weight distribution, cargo securement, and complying with all towing laws. Tell us what you plan to haul so we can help match you to the right trailer.

Contact us as soon as possible if you expect to be late or if there is an accident, breakdown, or damage. Late returns may result in additional rental charges, and renters may be responsible for damage that occurs while the trailer is in their possession. Rental operators commonly inspect and photograph trailers at pickup and return to document condition

Insurance and deposit requirements depend on the trailer, rental duration, and your rental agreement. Check with your auto insurer to understand whether your policy covers liability, physical damage to a rented trailer, and the cargo you are hauling; coverage can be limited even when a vehicle is insured. A refundable security deposit may be collected and released after the trailer is returned on time, clean, and without new damage, subject to your agreement.
